Your participation in this community cleanup helps protect parks, waterways and wildlife while improving the visual appeal of our cities. A litter cleanup can be hard work, but fun at the same time! Remember to take a moment and really see the beauty of the parks and ponds.
Wear thick-soled, closed-toe shoes for trails (waterproof boots and waders are more appropriate for creeks).
Wear a hat and sunscreen.
Wear long pants and long-sleeved, light colored shirts to avoid contact with thickets, thorns, poison ivy, or dirt.
Bring hand sanitizer and bug repellant.
Bring water in a reusable water bottle and sling.
