OEOC partnered with DFW Play and Plano International Festival committee on October 14, 2023 to demonstrate zero waste activities and stage an eco play on the verdant green lawns. As the nostalgic strains of Birendra Krishna Bhadra’s Mahalaya heralded Ma Durga’s descent to the mortal world, DFW Play presented a vibrant and meaningful street play-style performance, centered on Climate Change and its effect, and, pledged to take care of Mother Earth in the future. We hosted stations for the following to show and tell how less than 10% of waste can go to landfills:
